Project Overview
The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD), ranked among the top five dental schools in the country for NIH research funding, pursued a transformative addition and renovation of its flagship Gainesville facility. The project encompassed new clinical teaching and resident spaces, Faculty Practice clinics, simulation and teaching labs, classrooms, administrative offices, and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, all while maintaining active operations in the existing building. The scope was substantial and the strategic stakes were high. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop the proposal, presentation materials, presentation coaching, renderings, and animations needed to compete for this high-profile academic health care project.

Client Challenges
Competing for a nearly $90 million academic medical project required the client to do more than list qualifications. The pursuit demanded a clear, cohesive story that connected the firm's capabilities directly to a complex owner's priorities:
Communicating a broad, phased scope spanning clinical, research, simulation, and administrative programs as one unified narrative
Visualizing design quality and spatial intent to a university owner accustomed to evaluating complex academic health facilities
Differentiating the team in a competitive field pursuing a flagship, nationally recognized institution
Preparing key personnel for a high-stakes live selection interview with a sophisticated owner panel
Together, these challenges required a pursuit team that could synthesize technical depth, institutional knowledge, and compelling visual communication into a single, confident submission.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a full suite of pursuit services tailored to the complexity and visibility of this project. The team produced a polished written proposal structured to address the University of Florida's evaluation criteria and highlight the client's relevant experience with active healthcare and academic facilities. Custom renderings illustrated the character and quality of proposed clinical and instructional spaces, giving the owner a concrete visual sense of the project before design was finalized. Animations brought key functional zones to life, demonstrating how the addition would integrate with the existing Academic Health Center campus. A full presentation package organized the client's story for the live selection event, and presentation coaching prepared the team to deliver it with clarity and confidence.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached this pursuit as a strategic partner, not a production vendor. The team invested time upfront to understand the UFCD mission, the owner's infrastructure goals, and the operational sensitivities of building within an active health sciences campus.
Developed a proposal narrative that connected the client's construction experience directly to UFCD's tripartite mission of teaching, research, and patient care
Created renderings and animations calibrated to the owner's decision-making level, focusing on program integration and campus fit rather than decorative detail
Conducted targeted presentation coaching sessions that sharpened messaging, tightened delivery, and prepared the team for the specific questions a university health system panel was likely to ask
The result was a coordinated pursuit package in which every element reinforced the same story about the client's readiness to lead this project.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX produced a complete, submission-ready pursuit package held to the standard expected for a flagship university health sciences project.
The proposal gave the owner a clear, well-organized view of the client's qualifications and project approach, with language that spoke directly to UFCD's institutional priorities
Renderings and animations provided tangible visual evidence of design intent, reducing ambiguity and elevating the perceived quality of the submission
Presentation coaching produced a team that communicated with confidence and consistency, prepared to field detailed questions about phasing, clinical operations, and campus integration
The client entered the selection process with a polished, well-rehearsed submission that accurately reflected the strength and depth of their team.
