Project Overview

Duval County Public Schools issued a procurement for two new elementary school facilities in Jacksonville, Florida, each replacing an existing campus and consolidating multiple schools into one modern building. The $113,700,000 program encompassed a new Highlands Elementary, consolidating Highlands and Pine Estates students, and a new Southside Estates Elementary on an adjacent park parcel, built for 900 to 1,000 students to support 21st Century Learning. Both projects required the client to present a compelling case for two parallel, community-connected school replacements in a competitive pursuit. PRESWERX was engaged to develop a presentation, provide coaching, and produce renderings and animations.

Client Challenges

The client faced a dual-school procurement where two distinct campus stories had to combine into one compelling pursuit:

  • Each project consolidated multiple schools into one new building, requiring the presentation to communicate educational vision and community impact for both.

  • Two separate campuses required visuals that captured each school individually while reinforcing the quality of the district's investment.

  • A $113.7M public school procurement required a presentation that spoke credibly to both educational outcomes and construction capability.

Together, these required a pursuit package built to carry a dual-school scope at a district level.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package for the New Southside Estates and Highlands Elementary Schools, covering renderings, animations, presentation development, and coaching. The renderings and animations visualized both new campuses, capturing the distinct architectural character of each school and the community-focused site design that would serve hundreds of consolidated students across the district. The presentation was structured to communicate the scope, vision, and construction approach for a dual-school program under a single procurement. PRESWERX then worked with the client's team through coaching, preparing them to present two simultaneous school replacement stories clearly and confidently before Duval County Public Schools.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX built the package around one central challenge: two school stories that had to read as a single district-level proposal.

  • Produced renderings and animations for both campuses, capturing the distinct character and community focus of each school.

  • Developed a presentation structure that addressed both projects clearly without losing the identity of either campus.

  • Provided coaching that prepared the team to speak to the educational and community dimensions of each consolidation with confidence.

The result was a package where the district's investment in both communities came through as clearly as the construction approach.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a pursuit package that gave the client visual depth and presentation strength for a dual-school, district-level procurement.

  • Renderings and animations brought both campuses to life with the architectural quality and community character each school deserved.

  • The presentation organized a complex dual-school program into a clear, evaluator-friendly narrative the team could deliver with confidence.

  • Coaching ensured the team could speak to the educational, community, and construction dimensions of both projects under live evaluation conditions.

The client entered the selection fully prepared to make the case for two communities and one district's future.
