Project Overview

The Colonial School District pursuit was a K-12 architecture and engineering services engagement in New Castle, Delaware, where the client competed for a contract to provide A&E services across multiple projects for the Colonial and Red Clay Consolidated School Districts. The scope of potential work spanned multiple facilities, requiring the team to present their qualifications and approach to a joint procurement managed by the Central Bidding Department of both districts. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a polished pursuit presentation and coach the project team to deliver it with confidence in the competitive selection process.

Client Challenges

The client needed to introduce their firm to a joint school district procurement authority and make a compelling case for their A&E qualifications across a multi-project portfolio. The key challenges included:

  • Presenting the firm's capabilities and approach in a way that resonated with a K-12 owner evaluating multiple architecture and engineering service providers simultaneously.

  • Communicating a broad, multi-project scope of potential work without allowing the breadth of the engagement to blur the firm's specific value proposition.

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive A&E services selection managed jointly across two separate school districts under a shared procurement process.

  • Preparing presenters to deliver with confidence and consistency in a live selection setting.

These challenges required a presentation and delivery as sharp as the firm's technical qualifications.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a pursuit presentation and provided presentation coaching for the client's proposal to provide architecture and engineering services for the Colonial and Red Clay Consolidated School Districts. The presentation was structured to communicate the firm's qualifications and approach to a joint K-12 procurement authority evaluating multiple A&E service providers. PRESWERX also coached the presenting team on live delivery, working through messaging, rehearsal, and preparation for likely questions. All content and coaching was tailored to the specific expectations of a school district owner selecting a long-term A&E services partner for multiple projects.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated the engagement as both a content and a delivery challenge, building materials and preparing the team specifically for a joint school district A&E services selection:

  • Structured the presentation to lead with the firm's K-12 qualifications and project approach, giving the joint procurement authority a clear picture of how the team would serve multiple facilities across both districts.

  • Coached presenters to deliver with confidence and fluency, sharpening each team member's ability to speak to their role and relevant K-12 experience.

  • Aligned the team's messaging around the specific context of a joint procurement managed across two school districts, ensuring the introduction felt responsive to that structure rather than generic.

The result was a team prepared to present their qualifications clearly and professionally in a competitive selection.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a polished pursuit presentation and a well-prepared project team, both calibrated to the demands of a joint K-12 A&E services selection:

  • A presentation that organized the firm's qualifications and approach around the specific expectations of a school district owner managing A&E services across multiple projects.

  • A coaching process that sharpened presenter confidence and delivery, ensuring each team member could speak to their experience and role with precision.

  • A unified message aligned to the joint procurement context of the Colonial and Red Clay Consolidated School Districts.

The client's team entered the selection ready to make a strong and focused case for their qualifications.
